Pain Management

We provide management of acute and chronic back and joint pain using image guided injection of a combination of steroid and long acting local anesthetic. Spinal Injection procedures are performed in order to both diagnose and treat different causes of back pain. There are multiple types of spinal injection procedures; the most commonly performed procedures include epidural injections, selective nerve root injections, and facet joint injections. The type of injection you receive is determined by your doctor based on the pattern and distribution of your symptoms.

Another type of pain management procedure is called a Joint Injection. A bone joint is injected with a steroid to decrease pain and swelling in the joint. Although it varies between different patients, the steroid injections typically last from a few weeks to several months.
